Local Farm Visit
On the evening of Friday 26th June there is an opportunity to visit a local farm, by kind permission of Matthew Read of Saxley Farm, starting at 6:30 and lasting about 2 hours.
There will be a chance to see several different types of arable crop, find out about cultivation methods and requirements, see a field-sized solar array installation, a biomass boiler and typical farm equipment, ask questions about farming practice and agri-environment schemes etc. If you would like to come, please contact John or Julie Moon (710123 or julie.moon@care4free.net) to book your place and get directions to the farm.
