Coronavirus and the church

It is with a heavy heart that the PCCs and I have taken the decision to cease in-person services in our church buildings for the remainder of this month, due to the current surge in cases of Covid 19 and the extreme pressure on the NHS. The PCCs will review the situation at the end of January for February.

I know this will be disappointing for many of you who have appreciated being able to come to church for Holy Communion. I hope you will understand that as the situation has become more severe, we needed to respond in this way. Please be reassured that we will be looking to re-start the services as soon as we have confidence we can do so safely.

In the meantime all the online services and groups will continue and the information for how to access these can be found in the bulletin.

We want our communities to know that we are very much here for everyone and wanting to support anyone who needs our help. Please do not hesitate to be in touch if you or anyone you know would benefit from a phone call, a friendly email, practical help or to be remembered in our prayers.

Many thanks
Katrina
