DESCRIPTION:Our lovely village has many wonderful gardens and lots of enthu
 siastic gardeners. Every garden is special. Let s have a really great day 
 sharing our work with others.\nA provisional date of Sunday 8th June 2025 
 has been set for having an open garden event in the village. For the villa
 ge it is a lovely event with 10-14 gardens open to wander around and get i
 nspiration. For the owners of the gardens a chance to share their enthusia
 sm for gardening and the unique features of their garden.\nIf you would li
 ke to open your garden we would love to hear from you. ( see below for con
 tact details). Sadly currently we do not have enough gardens to make a vil
 lage wide event worthwhile\, but if you join us we may be able to run the 
 event. (A decision will be made by the end of March)\nTHREADGILL CUP. This
  is an annual village garden competition. There are four different categor
 ies\, large\, small garden\, pots and hanging baskets and vegetable garden
 s. Entry is free and you can enter as many categories as you wish. You do 
 not have to be present when the judging takes place\, which we hope will b
 e in the week starting 2/6/25. Why not enter?\nThe Open Gardens and Thread
 gill Cup Competition are NOT mutually exclusive. The reason for holding th
 em around the same time means that the work to get your garden tip top\, w
 ould cover both events. (The Threadgill Cup will go ahead even if the numb
