DESCRIPTION:SECOND CPR and Defibrillator Training Workshop run by a volunte
 er of the Ambulance Service\nA training workshop was setup on 8th March an
 d ALL tickets were sold within two days\, therefore we have setup a second
  training workshop. If you requested to be put on the wait list you can no
 w book your place in the second session.\nYou may not be aware that for ma
 ny years the village has had two defibrillators located at the Eagle and P
 oplar Farm and\, as far as we are aware\, they have never been used\, than
 k goodness.\nTypically\, there are 30\,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests
  every year in the UK. &nbsp\;Every second can mean the difference between
  life or death\, and survival rates can be significantly improved with tim
 ely intervention. &nbsp\;However\, many people are unable or lack confiden
 ce about what to do.\nThe Hall Committee are running a CPR&nbsp\;(cardiopu
 lmonary resuscitation) and defibrillator training workshop provided by an 
 experienced volunteer from the South Central &nbsp\;Ambulance Charity. The
 re will be a charge of £5 per person\, 100% of which will go to the Ambul
 ance charity.\nThis SECOND training workshop will be on Saturday 26th Apri
 l at 2:30pm in the village hall and will last for 2 hours\, plus time for 
 questions.\nYou can book your place at the training workshop at https://ev
 ents.abbottsann.com\nPlease book early as there are only twenty (20) adult
  places available.\nAccompanying children are free (no ticket required) wi
 th a paid ticket-holding Adult.\nThis training is being coordinated by Hel
 en Clark\n
