We hope you all enjoyed the fete!
We were blessed with glorious weather and our entertainers and stallholders offered so much variety in our wonderful village setting with refreshments galore!
We have received many comments on the fete
“It was certainly a splendid afternoon with lots to see and do. It is so lovely to watch people having a good time”
“There was such a happy carefree atmosphere and everyone was obviously delighted to be there and enjoy the various entertainments with some shopping on the side.”
“Our opinion and that of our two children was that it was one of the nicest ever – lovely atmosphere and great selection of activities, performances and stalls. We have been at nearly every village fete since 1992 and this was outstanding! Also a great chance to catch up with people from outside the village who regularly visit Abbotts Ann fete due to church, school or other connections.”
“I really enjoyed listening to the music , visiting the various exhibitions and wandering around the stalls. I know that so much effort, energy and time goes into planning and running the village fete”
“We were incredibly proud to return as headline sponsor of the Abbotts Ann Village Fete for the second year. It was a brilliant day, filled with great entertainment, glorious weather and a real sense of community. Our team thoroughly enjoyed volunteering, meeting local residents and helping the fete committee bring everything together.”
Norman Murphy Managing Director of Bluebird Care Andover and Stockbridge.
At the time of writing we have raised approximately £13,500 which is all thanks to everyone who supported the fete, local residents, businesses and organisations.
A massive thank you to the Fete Committee, Community Organisations and all volunteers including those from Bluebird Care, the Sea Scouts and Police Cadets.
Everyone worked tirelessly to ensure we all had a great safe time.
We look forward to seeing you at our AGM on 19th November at 7pm in the War Memorial Hall when we will enjoy distributing funds raised to our community organisations and hearing how the money will be spent.
Thank you once more for all your incredible support of Fete 26.
Best wishes
Anne Cunningham
