Abbotts Ann W.I. was formed in 1917 over a hundred years ago. We meet on the last Thursday of the month in Abbotts Ann War Memorial Hall at 7.30 p.m. New members are always welcome and we enjoy having visitors but there is no obligation to join.
In addition to our meetings where we have a variety of speakers there is a Walking Group and Reading Group and we hold regular coffee mornings. Please see our Programme for further detailed information. You will see that we organise various outings and visits during the year. We also hold fund-raising events from time to time. Last year we organised a successful afternoon tea party and this year we were lucky to secure the services of Heather Tilbury Philips for a Mary Quant event.
Abbotts Ann W.I joins in village events whenever possible. For many years we have provided refreshments for the annual fete (tea and cakes) and members offer support to the community in numerous ways including volunteering in the village shop, serving on various committees and assisting at other events.
