Just time for an informal committee meeting at which our Vice Presidents were selected – Val Downing & Sue Hancock – and then we were back in the Village Hall for our Christmas celebrations.
As has become a tradition in our Institute, we had a delicious five-course meal served to us by Mr Davies and his staff from Totton- it is a chance for us to sit back and relax for a change.
This year instead of sending Christmas cards to each other, a collection was made and £115 was sent to the Hampshire Air Ambulance, which was very generous of our members.

Our first meeting in 2008 will see us welcome Jill Bentall who is in a nostalgic frame of mind – so let your New Year’s resolution be to come along to one of our meetings which start at 7.30 p.m. in the Village Hall.
