Next week (Tuesday 23 February, 6-8pm) we have a Family History for Beginners evening at Hampshire Record Office. The session will offer practical advice and help in starting your family history research. You can discover the main sources available and how to use them and access material on microfiche/film with staff on hand to answer any questions. It will hopefully give you everything you need to know to begin investigating your family tree and the confidence to take your research forward. It will also act as a great introduction to the work of Hampshire Record Office more generally, showing where everything is and how you can access it.
