You will notice a 100 Club subscription form coming through your front door this month.
What is the 100 Club I hear you ask –
Abbotts Ann War Memorial Hall 100 Club is a private lottery that is open to all Residents from Abbotts Ann Village and the surrounding area, their family and friends. As a private lottery you have to be invited to join, you will be allocated a number and your numbers are not transferable.
The 100 Club raises valuable funds every year for the running of Abbotts Ann War Memorial Hall. Money raised is used to maintain and improve the hall for the benefit of all users.
Over the last 12 months the hall has been painted inside, had the main hall wooden floor sanded and resurfaced, installed thermal blackout blinds, had a projector and screen installed, had the boiler serviced and repaired, installed new outside lighting and lots of general day to day maintenance for which the money raised from the 100 Club and other grants and fundraising has been used.
By joining the 100 club you can help ensure Abbotts Ann War Memorial Hall remains open as a resource for all the residents in our community for just £15 for the year; as well as having a chance to win cash prizes every month!
The regular monthly draw takes place on the evening of the first Wednesday of each month at The Eagle, under the supervision of the Abbotts Ann War Memorial Hall Committee who administer the Club, with three cash prizes:-
- 1st prize = £30
- 2nd prize = £20
- 3rd prize = £10
If you are 16 years or older then join the 100 Club by filling in and returning your subscription form or pick up a form from Abbotts Ann Village Shop and enclose £15 per subscription.
