As most people are fully aware of the on-going issues with major water overflow coming down West hill and into the centre of the village.
The issue which has been on-going for some considerable time and is the responsibility of Southern Water to repairs has not been almost certainly due to the high cost. The parish council and Test Valley Borough council have been putting a lot of continued pressure on Southern Water, but getting little real response to the resolution of the problem.
Most residents affected by this issue have already complained to South Water.
The water apparently is just dirty water or already treated sewage water, but this posting is a warning to all villagers to the nature of this water and suggests you should wellington boots and remember to clean the wheels of any prams or push chairs which have gone through the water.
